Given that it pulled in some of the highest ratings the network has seen in recent years — and that it was quickly renewed for a second season — we already knew NBC was enamored with ‘The Voice.’ Now that the network has announced the premiere date for season two, we know just how much.

NBC confirmed Thursday that Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will return to their respective judges’ chairs when ‘The Voice’ kicks off its highly-anticipated second season next year. “Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of ‘The Voice’ this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning,” Paul Telegdy, NBC’s head of alternative programm

Last nite's show had me sitting on the edge of my seat. While all four finalists were great, to me it came down to  a battle  between Bluesfest artist Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan. Beverly nailed it..top notch, while Vicci's performance was classy, and quite good. It's almost too close for me to call, but I'll give Vicci and very slight edge over Beverly. What's your opinion? Tonight's  final performance of the four finalists on The Voice will yield one winner to be announced on Wednesday evening's final episode. It's my hunch it will boil down to a battle between Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan. Both are extremely talented, however of the two, Vicci is more  flexible vocally then Beverly, and for that reason I'll bank on Vicci Martinez squeezing out the victory
