Wabegon Turns Customer Appreciation Party Into $900 For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The Wabegon Bar & Grill has a customer appreciation party every year and this year they decided to make it count for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  The owner, Paul had tried to do a pasta feed to raise money in the past, but the flood of 2012 cancelled that event.  This first year event was well received and raised a lot of money.

Last year this event was just a ride, this year it's grown in number of days, size and things to do, thus the new name 2nd Annual Adam Long Ride N Rally!  The best part is you'll be making memories at the Checkerboard Bar, 3957 South County Road E in South Range, WI while raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Maarja and Dana from Good Morning Northland on WDIO-TV stopped by to help out with our 2016 St. Jude Radiothon on B105 and KOOL 101.7.  We had an anonymous grandpa offer to match any donations that came in within a 5 minute time period. In the end everyone raised $1,245! Thanks to both of them for stopping by to help!

I'll be honest with you.  There are days when I feel like I haven't really done any good after a day of work.  Maybe I did my job well that day and got a lot done, but what really have I done that's impacted anyone else?  I'm not a doctor, school teacher, or counselor.  When it comes down to it, I'm an entertainer.  I crack jokes, play music, occasionally pass on important information, etc... but
