Even if you're an avid online shopper you can take advantage of buying holiday gifts that have been handcrafted by our local artisans.  Gifts for both genders are represented and I just bet you can add to the list and help with ideas.  You might even be a crafter yourself...

It seems like we recycle more things every year.  I remember when recycling first came to the forefront in  the early to mid-1990's:  the focus was on paper, glass, plastic, and tin.  Then - as time went on - we were encouraged to expand our recycling ways by adding Styrofoam and so-called "higher-number plastics".

Bottled water might be convenient - but even if the containers get recycled, they still contribute a large amount of waste to our landfill systems.  A new product might help to alleviate some of the problem with a container made of a material that's more recyclable.
