People often say that parents should outlive their children, but that isn't always the case. To help those parents cope with the loss of their child or children, there is a national/international network of memorial parks. One such park is located on the Range and is taking orders for memorial tiles to be placed on a memorial wall.
Here's good news for Wisconsin residents and visitors who are fans of the great outdoors! The State of Wisconsin is providing a free weekend of camping, fishing, and ATV use - June 1st and 2nd.
The public is invited to attend the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission's annual meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd beginning at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the new Public Safety building located at 2030 Arlington Avenue.
The City of Duluth will make $86,000 available as part of the Parks Fund to support projects and initiatives which will enhance and improve city parks and recreation. If you would like to submit to the City, you must meet certain criteria.
