Friday, November 19th is the Christmas City Of North Parade, I have already posted up great places to park and easy access to the ramps and streets. This is a posting of the street closures and the timeline for the parade as laid out by the Duluth Police and City of Duluth.

The CPD is asking residents to retrieve their cars if they left them on a street during this weekend's big storm.

The excitement is up for this weekend's Air Show. If you are planning on going, you might want to know what the plan is to so you can get to where you are going. The Duluth Police issued a press release to clear things up and know what to expect.

I was scheduled to interview a culinary student at East High School on his recent accolade of winning a regional competition.  I was told to park in the lot by the school but noticed there was a sticker in all the other cars.  I did as I was told, but "lost" my car. Here's my story.

I have had to pay to park at one of those posts and sometimes it's hard to find where to pay, and do you bring quarters or can you pay with a card. I'm glad to hear the City of Duluth. I spend 15 minutes on the phone one day because the sign said to download the app, and I couldn't get it to show Duluth.

Justice is blind. It's also sympathetic.

A common problem has a not-so-common solution.

Getting your vehicle in between the lines can be a lot harder than it seems.

Handicapped parking signs allow people who need it, a closer parking spot to a store or business. When I heard that Vets who have problems but don't qualify for a handicapped sticker or license plate, I was a little angry. Then I heard Wounded Warriors created a purple sign that you could put in place of your handicapped sign to allow a space for a Vet.

Parking is a big deal in many areas in the Northland! People taking liberties without the thought of others. Well now you have a place to vent and post!

You've heard the myth about Minnesota Nice haven't you?  You know what I'm talking about;  folks who live in the Northland are kind, good-hearted, and never complain about anything.  Well I can't argue with some elements of that but I will tell you that people in Duluth love to complain!

On Saturday the Fitgers 5K race gets underway about 9 am. While the race only takes up an hour or so to complete, traffic has to be diverted for the area. Duluth Police are asking for motorists to obey the detours, and do not park in the marked off areas.
