Over the Edge returns to Downtown Duluth. Last year was the first year and it was a huge hit. This year it's coming back. The money raised benefits the Greater Downtown Council and they use the money to build up a zero-interest revolving loan fund to help small business owners in Downtown Duluth invest in refreshed storefronts.

The ballots are in and the winners have been determined in the annual Storefront Lighting and Window Display Contest sponsored by the Greater Downtown Council.  Judging occurred on November 25 with points awarded on the merits of creativity.

Look for the Red curtains Downtown Duluth. Businesses will have the red curtains hanging in their windows throughout the week to hide the assembly work going on behind the scenes.   The decorations are unveiled the same night as the Christmas City Of The North Parade.

Crowds of people enjoying Downtown Duluth's 2013 Sidewalk Days had something beside hot deals, great food, and cool cars to enjoy Thursday. Dangling from ropes nine stories above Superior Street were a group of brave individuals rappelling down the side of the Sellwood Building for a good cause.

Just like any metropolitan area, parking is concern in the City of Duluth.  Residents wanting to learn more are invited to attend a meeting on Thursday, April 25th at the Lake Superior and Lake Michigan Rooms in the Holiday Inn and Suites:  200 W First Street, Duluth.  The meeting runs from 8AM - 9AM.
