Our Fall was mild and it appeared that winter would never arrive, then seemingly overnight it changed and now we have wind chill advisories and temps in the single digits.  Ice has begun to form and thicken on our area lakes and it's time to start thinking of the fun we can have with what mother nature has provided...

What's better than Hockey played the old-fashioned way, on the ice, in the outdoors. The Great Lakes Pond Hockey Classic is 3 days and nights of outdoor hockey in the Lake Superior Bay right by Barkers Island January 27th through the 29th.
