Duluth Mayor Emily Larson announced today that Enger Tower will be lit purple for the Minnesota Vikings.

Duluth's iconic Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower will be bathed in teal light on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17 as part of an awareness campaign for ovarian cancer.

As we reported earlier today, Duluth Mayor Emily Larson announced that Enger Tower, one of the city's most prominent landmarks, would be lit in rainbow-colored lights in honor of the victims of the shooting in Orlando over the weekend.

Even though foggy, cold, and rainy conditions persisted through the evening, hundreds of people visited Enger Tower in Duluth as it was lit up in purple as a tribute to the iconic Minnesotan and musical legend, Prince.

As fans mourn the loss of musical icon and Minnesotan Prince, the City of Duluth will honor the Purple One by lighting Enger Tower in Purple tonight (Thursday, April 21).

Friday night (September 18) saw Duluth's Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower bathed in teal light as part of an awareness campaign for ovarian cancer.

Fireworks lit the skies over the Twin Ports for 4th of July celebrations, but the Duluth Lift Bridge and Enger Tower offered patriotic light shows of their own. Red, white, and blue lights chased around Enger Tower Friday night, offering a cool and festive spectacle on the Duluth skyline.
