Sam and I were there as The Duluth Public Library Celebrated Harry Potter. There were maps, scavenger hunts, potions, a costume contest, and featured a Harry Potter movie. There was a good turn out as kids were treated to all sorts of themes from the popular Harry Potter movies.
Now that we are in the month of April, tax deadline is just a couple of weeks away, have you finished your taxes? If you still do them long hand, you can no longer get tax forms at libraries. Minnesota Tax forms are pretty much obolete, people can print them from websites and tax programs.
In a Minnesota first, the Duluth Public Library announced the launch of the Duluth Public Seed Lending Library. Library Manager Carla Powers announced that beginning in Spring 2014 Duluth Public Library customers may borrow seeds to grow in their gardens. People will be asked to save a portion of the seeds for themselves and return a portion to the seed library.
