While there has been a growing awareness about these dangers when outdoor temperatures are hot, it is important to remember that even on cooler days that it can still get dangerously hot in a vehicle.

This afternoon, the Duluth Police Department responded to a call regarding a dog that was left unattended in a locked vehicle with its windows rolled up. With the aid of Animal Control, they were able to unlock the vehicle and rescue the dog from the rising temperatures inside.
Here's an update on the 1978 Ford pickup truck that dredging crews discovered last week in the harbor. Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office are now treating the case as a stolen vehicle. The truck was reported stolen to the Duluth Police Department on August 25, 1990 and has apparently been laying on the bottom of the harbor since that time...
The Duluth Police Department is trying to locate Jason Lee George Moore - the Property Crimes Wanted Person of the Week - in connection with two felony warrants out for his arrest.
