In their ongoing support of Special Olympics Minnesota, members of the Duluth Police Department are holding a special fundraising event at the Duluth Dunkin Donuts on Central Entrance.

The Duluth Police Department is gearing up to host the 4th annual Kids, Cars and Cops Event next week.

Unfortunately there are tragic stories each summer about pets and children left in vehicles on hot summer days. While there has been a growing awareness about these dangers when outdoor temperatures are hot, it is important to remember that even on cooler days that it can still get dangerously hot in a vehicle.

This is a fun run for the whole family as you're invited to run a 5k in a super hero t-shirt, pajamas, Halloween costume, cape, tights, or maybe you really are a Super Hero and you could wear your own outfit.

This Wednesday bring the kids and have some fun as a family. The 3rd annual Kids, Cops, and Cars event is back at Grant Park.

This afternoon, the Duluth Police Department responded to a call regarding a dog that was left unattended in a locked vehicle with its windows rolled up.  With the aid of Animal Control, they were able to unlock the vehicle and rescue the dog from the rising temperatures inside.

One of the Northland's finest will get national recognition for his heroic efforts at a ceremony at the White House this morning.

You can help the Duluth Police Department capture a suspect wanted in connection with a theft case.

A suspect is in custody in connection with charged stemming from an armed robbery incident that occurred on a downtown Duluth sidewalk.

Here's an update on the 1978 Ford pickup truck that dredging crews discovered last week in the harbor.  Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office are now treating the case as a stolen vehicle.  The truck was reported stolen to the Duluth Police Department on August 25, 1990 and has apparently been laying on the bottom of the harbor since that time...

The Duluth Police Department is trying to locate Jason Lee George Moore - the Property Crimes Wanted Person of the Week - in connection with two felony warrants out for his arrest.
