We have one of the biggest and best blues festivals right here in Duluth, and not only is this a special year, but there are some great things that make it something you should plan to attend every year. Even the artists want to play here and be a part of the action. Why not, it's one of the most beautiful venues.

We are extremely fortunate to have the Bayfront Blues Festival in our community, and there are many reasons why we should both support and attend. When I talk to the artists that play here they all look forward to it and have fond memories of the people and some got their start here.

KOOL 101.7 is your official Bayfront Bluesfest Radio Station. We are proud of that, but I feel as your official station, we always let you know updates and information about the festival. Some of the big artists coming that are some of my favs are: Savoy Brown, Robert Cray Band, and Marcia Ball.

Beverly was a contestant in the first Season of 'The Voice" reaching the final four. Christina Aguilera was her coach. Prior to The Voice, she had already recorded five independent albums without having been signed by any record label. Her latest CD "Fear Nothing" is her best yet.
