The internet is an endless source of information and entertainment while also being a proving ground for criminals.  It's tough for adults to maintain their vigilance not to mention kids.

The Superior Public Library is hosting a free Internet Safety Workshop aimed at kids on Saturday, April 8 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Detective Parenteau will present ideas and solutions for kids so that they can stay safe when they're using the internet.

The event is free, but library officials ask that you pre-register your child by calling 715-394-8866.  All kids at the event must be accompanied by an adult.  Kids in attendance will receive a free lunch and have the chance to win prizes.
