St. Louis County Debuts New Mobile Emergency Alert System

Officials with St. Louis County recently debuted their new mobile Emergency Alert System.  It's called Northland Alert and with it, the counties emergency providers can easily notify residents about the situation and what to do to protect themselves.

The system itself has two parts:  an Integrated Public alert and Warning System and a free subscription service that offers additional layers of alerts for less-pressing situations like weather conditions and road closures.
