Northland FAN Becomes the Official Audio Home of Duluth Huskies Baseball for the 2025 Season
While you can't beat enjoying a baseball game at the stadium on a beautiful summer day, listening to a game on the radio is the next best thing.
There's something nostalgic about listening to a game while enjoying summertime activities, and a new partnership between the Duluth Huskies and the Northland FAN will bring Huskies Baseball to Northlanders everywhere for the season ahead.
Duluth Huskies General Manager Herb Gibson and Northland FAN Brand Manager Nick Stoltman shared the news of their new partnership in a joint press release issued Tuesday afternoon (February 11, 2025).
Stoltman commented on the new broadcast partnership, saying “We are excited about this new partnership as the Northland FAN becomes the audio home of the Duluth Huskies this season.
He continued. "I’m thrilled we get to share the summer tradition of Huskies Baseball with fans everywhere, bringing play-by-play coverage to the region using all of the audio platforms of the Northland FAN.”
Huskies General Manager Gibson echoed the enthusiasm, stating "We are excited to be back on the FAN for the 2025 season and beyond. The only thing better than listening to Huskies baseball on the radio is seeing the game played at Wade Stadium.”
Stoltman continued, “This partnership strengthens Northland FAN’s commitment to delivering top-tier local sports coverage and ensures that fans never miss a moment of Huskies action.”
Aside from a small handful of games that coincide with the Northland FAN's coverage of Duluth Harbor Monsters Football, which enters year two on the station this summer, listeners will be able to hear the season's home and away games across all of the station's audio platforms.

Fans will be able to listen to games on the Northland FAN's Twin Ports area FM signal at 106.5 FM, across the Northland at 560 AM, and anywhere via the station's streaming platforms, which include the station's website stream, via the FAN 106.5 mobile app, or by asking a smart speaker to play The FAN 106.5.
The Duluth Huskies start their 2025 season with a four-game road trip against the Waterloo Bucks starting on May 26. The Huskies then head to Eau Claire on May 30 for the first game of a home-and-home series with the Express. Their home opener will be the second game of that home-and-home versus Eau Claire on Saturday, May 31 at 5:35 pm at Wade Stadium in Duluth.
