Bear Paw Coffee in Byron, Minnesota Looking For "Amazing Buyers to Continue the Legacy"

It seems like just yesterday when I was teasing you with the latest news about a coffee shop opening up in Byron.  News first hit about Bear Paw Coffee opening in November 2021.  About six months later, Bear Paw Coffee turned on the coffee pots and let their fans know they were now open at 190 High Point Pl NE in Byron, Minnesota.

The coffee is still hot (or cold, if that is what you prefer) but the owners are now on the search for someone to take the keys.  According to the latest post on social media, Bear Paw Coffee is looking for a new owner.

Todays post is a little less sunshine-y than our fans are used to as we are here to announce something we want you to hear from us first: we are officially seeking to sell Bear Paw and transfer ownership to the next amazing buyers to continue the legacy and bring Bear Paw to the next level!

The last 2.5 years have been nothing short of fun and exciting, and as we envision our future we've found our primary careers, family needs, and future aspirations are pivoting us in ways that do not leave us available to give the shop and our pack the time and attention it deserves.

Bear Paw Coffee is not planning on closing while the hunt for a new owner is happening.

We have no intention of closing at this point. We will be patient and up and running per usual until we match with the perfect buyer(s) to pass the baton to. (Reminder: we're hiring! )

 

We're fully aware that making this public is a bit unconventional and risky. We've always sought to do things our own way and build relationships with the community, so here we are

 

We hope as we embark on the hunt for new owners that you'll continue to embrace us and show your support for our little local hut. Our absolute dream would be for someone who knows and loves Bear Paw to swoop in and take over which is why we're anxiously (& vulnerably) opting to go about this in this way.
