
Two Fatal Crashes Reported on Minnesota Freeways in Under 24 Hours
Undated (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol is reporting that at least two fatal crashes occurred on two Minnesota freeways in under 24 hours.

One happened Saturday afternoon and the other occurred on Sunday morning.
The first fatality was a single-vehicle crash and the second deadly accident involved two vehicles.

Duluth Woman Loses Her Life in Single-Vehicle Crash on I-35
Saturday’s deadly crash occurred on Interstate 35 between Cloquet and Duluth in Carlton County shortly before 3:15 p.m.
The driver of a northbound SUV lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to leave the road and strike multiple trees. The vehicle came to rest on the southern side of the interstate, the state crash report says.
A 41-year-old woman from Duluth was driving the SUV. Authorities plan to release her name and more information regarding her death at a later time.
SUV Driver Who Hit Deer Dies After SUV Hits Her Stopped Vehicle on I-94
Sunday’s fatal crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 94 in Dayton, which is about 25 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
A 60-year-old South Haven, MN woman had stopped the Ford SUV she was driving in the center lane after hitting a deer. A Mazda SUV then collided with the back of the Ford, the State Patrol says.
The state crash report says the Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the 32-year-old Becker woman driving the Mazda was taken to a hospital.
The names of the drivers and more information about Sunday morning’s deadly crash has not yet been released.
