Unbuckled Wisconsin Man Killed in Crash Along Rural Minnesota Highway
Brook Park, MN (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol says a Wisconsin man lost his life in a crash on a rural Minnesota highway.

He was the only person inside of his vehicle. Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision.
The deadly crash was reported shortly before 5:00 Thursday morning in east-central Minnesota’s Pine County.
It happened at the intersection of Hwy. 23 and 2nd Ave. in Brook Park, which is about 50 miles north of Forest Lake.
A southbound SUV collided with a pick-up truck that was proceeding east through the intersection.
81-year-old Duane Wallace Haaf of Webster, WI, was identified as the SUV driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
50-year-old Rex Arthur Sanders of Greenwood, WI was identified as the pick-up driver. He was not hurt.
The state crash report says Haaf was not buckled up. Alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, authorities say.
