Two Southeast Minnesotans Injured in Crash With Fire Truck in Downtown St. Paul
Update: Northfield Woman Hurt in Crash With St. Paul Fire Truck Has Died
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- A man and woman from southeast Minnesota were injured after crashing with a fire truck in St. Paul.

Four firefighters were in the fire truck and the man and woman from Northfield were occupying a sedan.
The State Patrol responded to the collision in downtown St. Paul around 7:50 Saturday evening.
Man & Woman from Northfield Injured in Crash With St. Paul Fire Truck
The state crash report says the fire truck was traveling south on Cedar St. and the car was heading west on 7th St. when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
77-year-old Charles Edward Kyte was identified as the car driver. The passenger was identified as 76-year-old Diane Susan Kyte.
Both Northfield residents suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. Diane was taken to Regions Hospital for further care while Charles’s injuries did not require hospitalization, the state report says.
The Kyte’s were bucked up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says.
39-year-old Nathan Mark Hurliman of St. Paul was driving the fire truck. He and the three other firefighters, who were responding to a call at the time of the crash, were not injured, according to the state report.
