Alcohol Suspected in Rural Minnesota Crash That Killed Corvette Driver
Cook, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash in northern Minnesota claimed the life of a Cook man over the weekend.

The State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday. It happened in rural northwest Cook.
The state crash report indicates a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling west on Hwy. 1 from Hwy. 53 when it entered the right shoulder, lost control and crashed into a tree in the ditch. The driver, identified as 62-year-old Wade Louis Anthony, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was buckled up and alcohol is suspected of being involved in the deadly crash, the state report says. The road was described as dry at the time of the crash.
