
Which Teams Qualified For The ’25 Minnesota Wrestling Tournament?
It was a big weekend across Minnesota gymnasiums as section team wrestling was underway. Here are the teams that qualified for the state wrestling tournament, which is going to be held at the Xcel Energy Center from February 27th through March 1st.
For Class A, the smallest schools in Minnesota, here are the state tournament qualifying teams, listed by section.

2. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Area
3. Jackson County Central
4. LeSueur-Henderson
5. Canby
6. West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville
7. Staples-Motley
8. United North Central
Class AA
1. Kasson-Mantorville
2. Watertown-Mayer
3. Marshall
4. Simley
5. Totino-Grace
6. Becker
7. Grand Rapids
8. Perham
Class AAA
1. Albert Lea Area
2. Prior Lake
3. Hastings
4. Stillwater Area
5. St. Michael-Albertville
6. Shakopee
7. Elk River
8. Bemidji
Teams will be seeded on Wednesday, February 19th.
Individuals will have their section tournaments this upcoming weekend, and that will determine who qualifies as an individual for the state tournament at the Xcel Energy Center.
Individuals can still qualify to participate in the state tournament, even if their team didn't make the state tournament. The individual just has to win or come in second in their section tournament, once all the individuals are qualified the wrestlers will then be seeded for the state tournament.
The Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament, which perhaps isn't as popular as the boy's hockey tournament is, is still a great setting to watch phenomenal athletes competing at the highest level of varsity sport.
