Free Country Concert Kicks Off Football Season At U.S. Bank Stadium
The Minnesota Vikings are hosting a Country concert before they open the season at home this year. Russell Dickerson will be taking the stage outside the 'People's Stadium' before the purple and gold take on the Atlanta Falcons.
What You Need To Know To Attend The Concert
According to the Minnesota Vikings website: "This pregame concert is free and open to the public, no game ticket required."
Where Are 'The Commons' At US Bank Stadium?
The Commons at US Bank Stadium are due west of the big doors, which can swing open on fall days during the season. The physical location would be between South 5th Street and South 4th Street, and adjacent to Park Avenue.
Who Else Will Be Performing At The Concert?
In addition to Russell Dickerson performing, which is scheduled to take place at around 4:30pm, the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders and the SKOL line will also be performing after the gates to the commons open, starting at 2pm.
What Time Is the Vikings Game on September 14th If The Concert Is At 4:30pm?
The Vikings vs Falcons game is scheduled for a 7:20pm kickoff, so that probably means Russell will perform for about an hour to 90 minutes, as the doors to the stadium generally open about 3 hours before kick-off.

Grab your boots and horns on September 14th, it sounds like it will be a memorable day in and around US Bank Stadium.
