Superior Wisconsin Motorcycle Awareness Rally Is In May
With May being Motorcycle Awareness Month, there are plenty of events and advertising out there trying to remind other people on the road to be on the look-out for motorcycles.
As a motorcycle rider myself, I do agree riders have responsibility too of course, but all too often accidents are not the fault of the rider. Often it ends up being the driver of a car, and with more motorcycles getting onto Minnesota and Wisconsin roads for the season I wanted to share an extra reminder.
A great annual event is happening today in Superior, Wi from 1:00-3:00PM in front of Campbell Lumber. It's a Motorcycle Awareness Rally, and you're invited to hang out and support the cause. It's not any kind of heavy lifting, just taking a stand on the sidewalk to help raise awareness. Check out the proclamation from Superior Mayor Jim Paine:
All ages are welcome, and your attendance will help out ABATE of Wisconsin Region 6B. Even if you can't attend and hang with them, if you're driving by make sure you give a couple of honks in support.
If you do ride, it's already shaping up to be a nice sunny day in Superior, so get on those bikes and add a stop outside of Cambell Lumber to your Sunday adventures.
