What Will November’s Weather Be Like In Minnesota? Here’s The Official Outlook
November is on our doorstep, inching ever closer to the upcoming 2025-2026 winter season in Minnesota.
While December tends to be the month most often associated with the start of winter in Minnesota (I mean, that's when the calendar says it starts), November often brings our first measurable snow to the state.
What will November 2025 bring weather-wise to Minnesota? The official outlook from the National Weather Service gives us a good idea of what we can expect.
The NWS's Climate Prediction Center (CPC) has a look at what weather trends we can expect through most of November across Minnesota.

It's important to note that word trends as part of that phrase. With the Climate Prediction Center's outlooks, the further into the future the forecast looks, the more it is a "broad brushstrokes" outlook, with plenty of room for variability.
That said, November looks like it might be warmer than normal across Minnesota. Here's how the month breaks down:
Short-Term Outlook For Minnesota: Early-Mid November
November looks like it will start on a warmer-than-average note, with nearly all of Minnesota seeing a 60-70% probability of warmer temperatures than normal from November 5 all the way through November 13.
Now, to be fair, "warmer-than-average" just means odds favor warmer than normal for this time of year. For reference, "normal" daytime highs in early-mid November are somewhere in the 40s, so it doesn't necessarily mean it will be a tropical heatwave.
On the precipitation side of things, the southern half of the state could see some drier-than-normal conditions, with the northern part of Minnesota in line for more normal amounts of precipitation for this time of year
Longer-Term Outlook For Minnesota: Mid-Late November
The later parts of the November outlook for Minnesota (which looks out as far as November 21) show a continued trend of indicators pointing to warmer-than-normal temperatures.
While the outlook is less confident, most of Minnesota sees a 40-50% chance of warmer-than-normal temperatures later into the month.

Again, "normal" is in the mid-upper 30s for much of Minnesota for this time of year, so the bar isn't exactly super high to be warmer than "normal".
On the precipitation front, nearly all of Minnesota has a "neutral" outlook, which means there are equal chances of normal, above normal, or below normal amounts of precipitation into the later part of November.
