One of the Best Food Halls in the Country

The Market at Malcolm Yards, which opened in 2021, was named the #6 food hall in America by USA Today readers, making it the top-ranked food hall in Minnesota.

If you've never been to a food hall, think of it as a more elevated version of a mall food court, often with craft drinks and a wide range of chef-driven concepts. Though this setup dates back more than a century, its modern resurgence began around 2010.

A Unique Destination in Minneapolis

Located in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, The Market at Malcolm Yards houses nine different food vendors, a full bar with 17 batch cocktails, and a self-serve tap wall pouring everything from beer and wine to non-alcoholic options.

The space itself has a rich history, it was originally built in 1889 as a factory for railcars and later tractors. After decades of wear and a major fire, it has been beautifully remodeled and transformed into one of the country’s most celebrated food halls.

A Local Culinary Experience with Worldwide Favorites

USA Today highlighted Wrecktangle Pizza, known for its Detroit-style pies that have gained national attention. But pizza is just one slice of what you’ll find here.

Other options include Asian and Argentinian cuisine, dumplings, tacos, ice cream, crêpes, smoked meats, sushi, and Korean-inspired egg sandwiches.

Whether you’re visiting the Twin Cities or a local looking for something new, The Market at Malcolm Yards offers one of the most exciting food experiences in Minnesota.
