Black Eyed Peas Cancel Minnesota Gig And Fans Aren’t Buying The Excuse
After years away from Minnesota, the second best-selling group of all time for downloaded tracks was planning its first return since 2021. Now, that comeback has been canceled at the last minute.
The Black Eyed Peas, who dominated radio airplay in the early 2000s with 10 songs cracking the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 between 2003 and 2011, had planned to perform on September 4 at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheater.
Black Eyed Peas Cancel Minnesota Concert
However, it was announced yesterday that the group is canceling their Minnesota show. Refunds will be issued to anyone who bought tickets. This marks yet another canceled concert for the band in 2025.

Earlier this year, the Black Eyed Peas had planned a Las Vegas residency called 3008 The Las Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood’s PH Live. Those 15 shows were also scrapped due to what the group described only as “current circumstances.”
The Grand Casino Hinckley concert was officially called off due to a “scheduling conflict.” Looking at their current tour plans, the band is still scheduled to appear at the Wake The Giant Festival in Thunder Bay on September 6, just two days after the canceled Minnesota date.

Fans React to Cancellation
Many fans have expressed skepticism about the explanation. One commented, “Scheduling conflict? Are you trying to tell me in 2025 nobody looked at a map before they set up the tour route?”
Others suggested ticket sales may have been the real issue. One blunt comment read, “Translation: This isn’t 2001 and they didn’t sell enough tickets without Fergalicious. Definition – nobody cares.”
Either way, the concert will not be rescheduled. All tickets are being refunded. For Minnesota fans hoping to see the Black Eyed Peas, the closest option now is Thunder Bay.
