Someone In Wisconsin Just Won A Remarkable $9.5 Million Jackpot
It's not uncommon for the Wisconsin Lottery to announce lucky winners throughout any given week because there is such a wide variety of games to play.
People in Wisconsin can access national lottery games like Powerball and Mega Millions, but there are also games exclusive to Wisconsin that can provide a nice payday to winners, and one just delivered a life-changing win.
The Wisconsin Lottery announced Monday that someone won a massive $9.5 million jackpot over the weekend with its Megabucks game.
How Do You Play Wisconsin's Megabucks?
The setup is similar to other lottery games in that players select a series of 6 numbers, between 1 and 49, and the amount you can win is determined by how many winning numbers you have once a drawing has been completed.

Jackpots start at $1 million and continue to grow until someone wins them by having all 6 numbers.
Drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays after 9 p.m., and all tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. on those days to be included in that day’s drawing.
Winning comes down to how many of the 6 winning numbers you're lucky enough to have on your ticket:
- 6 of 6 - JACKPOT! Should more than one person match all 6 winning numbers, the jackpot will be equally divided among all jackpot winners
- 5 of 6 - $500
- 4 of 6 - $30
- 3 of 6 - $2

Megabucks Drawing On Saturday, April 12
On Saturday, April 12, the Megabucks jackpot had grown to $9.5 million. The winning numbers from April 12 were 7-10-13-19-34-35.
According to the Wisconsin Lottery, the odds of winning a Megabucks jackpot is 1 in 6,991,908, and one person beat those odds Saturday to win it all.
The $9.5 million winning ticket was purchased at a Kwik Trip, located at 1101 Gertrude Street, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
Hopefully, whoever bought that ticket remembers to check the April 12 Megabucks numbers and still has the lucky ticket. The Wisconsin Lottery requires a ticket to claim a prize, and playslips are not valid.
