Police Need Help Now Locating Golf Cart Stolen From Popular Minnesota Course
Several times throughout the year, police departments in Minnesota reach out to the public to help them with an active investigation. I often write about these instances to help spread the word, because when more people who are aware and share on social media, the better chance there is that someone will be able to provide useful information to authorities.
Most of the time, it involves identifying suspects of crime whose image was captured by a surveillance camera, and it has recently been an attempt to locate a vehicle associated with a crime.
However, on Monday, August 4, the Duluth Police Department reached out to the public for help, and it was one of the most unique cases I can remember seeing. It involved the theft of a cart from a popular golf course in Duluth, and because the value of the golf cart far exceeds $1,000, it's a felony crime in Minnesota.

Golf Cart Stolen From Enger Park Golf Course In Duluth
According to a Monday evening Facebook post from the Duluth Police Department, they were attempting to locate a golf cart that had been stolen from Enger Park Golf Course at around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 2.
Initial information indicated that it was a white female who stole a grey 2025 EZGO model RXV Gas EX1 golf cart, which has the number 7 on the side and an Enger Park logo on the hood.
Authorities believe the suspected female fled westbound on Skyline Parkway in the golf cart. They'd like anyone who has any information on this incident or knows the whereabouts of the golf cart to call 911 and reference ICR# 25116717.
I'm just speculating here, but you'd think someone would've seen this golf cart driving down roads on the evening of August 2. One wonders if it was driven into a nearby garage or if someone had a trailer parked somewhere isolated to ultimately transport the cart further away.
