
Old Farmer’s Almanac: Snowy, Bitter Cold For Duluth In February
Change is coming! After a pretty mild winter so far, it looks like things are going to take a big turn in February.
For starters, a weather analyst is forecasting heavy snow for our neck of the woods next month, a far cry from what we've seen so far this winter.

We are also looking at arctic air moving in just in time for February. We've had a few cold snaps but overall, temperatures have been mild.
The National Weather Service of Duluth says we will see this arctic air moving in early next week. Yikes!
All of this to say, I looked at the Old Farmer's Almanac as I always do at the end of a month to see what next month holds for better or for worse!

Their forecast for our region, which includes Minnesota and Wisconsin, lines up with what is currently in the forecast as we speak: cold air and a snowy month ahead!
According to their predictions for our region, we will be snowy for the first few weeks of February pretty consistently. It will also be colder than average, with bitter cold the last half of the month. Fun.

Our temperature will hover around nine degrees on average, a few degrees cooler than usual. February really isn't sounding too fun right about now but summer is not too far away. Maybe.
