Nate Bargatze Show In Minnesota Prompts Warning From Venue
Comedian Nate Bargatze has been on a seemingly unstoppable roll over the past few years, and he is now billed as "America's Favorite Funny Man".
According to Pollstar, in April 2023, the Nashville native set the attendance record at his hometown arena, selling 19,365 tickets at Bridgestone Arena, grossing $1.3 million.
Then, in September, he set the comedy record at Salt Lake City’s Delta Center, drawing 29,251 people over two shows and grossing $2.1 million.
Those are just two examples of the amazing popularity of Nate Bargatze. There are plenty more as he topped Pollstar’s 2024 Comedy Chart. Between August 1, 2023, and July 31, 2024, he grossed nearly $80 million and sold more than 1 million tickets over 163 shows. Those numbers bested No. 2 Dave Chappelle by more than $35 million.

On Thursday, May 8, the Nate Bargatze: Big Dumb Eyes World Tour will be at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minnesota, and while it does have the same capacity as places like Bridgestone Arena, it will be one of the most attended shows ever at the Duluth venue and that has led to a warning to attendees of the show.
A Warning To Attendees Of The Nate Bargatze Show In Duluth
On Monday, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center issued a warning to attendees of the show that they hope will help everyone have a fun night free from stress and frustration.
The Nate Bargatze Show on Thursday is expected to draw nearly 8,000 attendees, which will make it one of the biggest shows ever at AMSOIL Arena. While that should make for a fun night, it could also lead to parking frustrations as only a fraction of attendees will be able to park on-site.
That means if you're going to the show, you will likely need to park in a downtown parking ramp. Click on the button below to see the parking options that are available in the area.
To reduce stress, organizers offer the following tips:
- Come early! Enjoy Canal Park, have a meal, and throw rocks in Lake Superior
- Park in the many parking ramps across the highway in downtown. It's approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk via the skywalk.
- If you're staying in a hotel in Canal Park or Downtown, walk to the venue. Your hotel’s front desk staff can help direct you to the easiest route.
- Accessibility drop-off will be at the main door (Door E) of AMSOIL Arena
