Those are some fat joints this guy is rolling. Warren Limmer, a Republican from Maple Grove recently spoke against the recreational legalization of marijuana in Minnesota. The hearing for the Senate vote was on April 28, and it ultimately passed. But before the passing vote was made, legislators opposing the HF 100 bill were allowed to speak to the rest of the Senate. Some of the things he and other Republicans said got the attention of Twitter users.

I first saw this start with an article featured in Rolling Stones magazine. It made me laugh because they said he needs to roll smaller joints.

Here is a clip shared by journalist Aaron Rupar.

You can watch the clip that's on YouTube. Senator Limmer starts speaking about 2 hours in.

For those unfamiliar with the amounts of marijuana. Two ounces is a lot of pot. A joint is about the size of a tobacco cigarette.

A joint would have somewhere around .32 grams. Maybe more if it's a fat one. Where did this senator get his math from? He says 3 joints are equal to 2 ounces. 3 Joints is about a gram of marijuana. How many joints could you roll out of 2 ounces? A lot.

Say a joint is .5 grams for easy math. 2 ounces of joints would equate to around 113 joints. So clearly we are going to have a learning curve for many people when it is legalized in Minnesota.

Cheech and Chong references were also shared, as you would expect.

This was probably one of my favorite responses. "Tell me you know nothing about marijuana without telling me you know nothing about marijuana."
