Here's a reason to cheers! A Wisconsin city has been named one of the happiest and safest in the entire country.

It seems like Wisconsin always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to all these new studies that are always coming out these days. (Remember when Wisconsin was named the grossest state in the country? Sad!)

Thanks, WalletHub!

WalletHub did this study, naming the happiest cities in the country. To do this, they took the biggest cities in the country and looked at a bunch of key factors, some of which may surprise you.

One Of The Happiest Cities Is...

Madison! The Wisconsin city has been named one of the happiest in America, coming in at number four on this massive list. No Minnesota cities made the top ten.

Madison did well across all three metrics: emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment. These metrics include things like depression rates, hours worked per week, and more.

Sweet Dreams?

It is worth noting that Madison came in at number two of all the cities on this list when it comes to getting adequate sleep, meaning they get better rest than most other places in the entire country. Jealous.

A few other Minnesota and Wisconsin cities did well on the list. Here's where they ranked:
