I recently told you about a new Asian restaurant coming to Duluth. I finally ordered it for lunch last week to try it out for myself. I love sushi, and I'm happy that we are getting more options in recent years in the Twin Ports.

The Asian Kitchen is now open in Duluth's Hillside on 4th street. It's the same location as the former, famous, Huey's Chopsticks Inn. Asian Kitchen describes itself as surving Japanese and Chinese food. I've heard good things about their Chinese dishes, but what I was interested in was trying the Sushi. I ordered it for delivery at work since I was having a busy day and couldn't get away for lunch. Fortunately, they came right up with the Door Dash app and it only took a few seconds to order.

The delivery was quick. I think it was less than 25 minutes from the time I ordered. I got 3 Maki rolls: Shrimp Tempura, California, and a Kani.

I also got an order of Miso Soup. The soup tasted like just about any other Miso Soup, which is fine. There's not a lot that goes into Miso Soup, so they all kind of taste the same.

I also really like the fact that they give you a full cup of soy sauce. Sushi is designed to be dunked in soy sauce! That's the best part. I was happy to see this in the bag.

The sushi tasted fresh. Of the three my favorite was the shrimp tempura. If I had to do it again, I probably would get more spicy options, but when trying a new place I want to play it on the safer side. Sometimes when you get sushi places, it can be almost mushy or wet. This wasn't. It had great taste and a great texture.

The price wasn't bad either. I think it was around $13 for what I ordered, plus Door Dash fee. So if you have been wondering about giving Asian Kitchen a try, I would recommend you do.
