Minnesota’s Best Nachos Now Officially Rank With The Best In America
I'm not going to lie, when I saw that there was a survey done to find the best nachos in America, I was very excited to see where I needed to go. While I love a lot of different foods, I think nachos are the item I order the most, and not just as an appetizer.
There are countless times when I'll go out to dinner, and I'll just order the nachos as my entrée, even if nobody wants to share them with me. Although I've been told I'm kind of a snob when it comes to what goes on the nachos, because if processed squeeze cheese, like you'd find on movie theater nachos, is the primary cheese used, I'll never order it.
Two things I must have are real melted cheese and extra jalapeños, but I don't mind if restaurants get creative from there, as I'm not afraid of a little nacho adventure.
While finding the best nachos in America isn't an exact science, since everyone has different tastes, it was fun to see exactly where the best nachos are in Minnesota, since we can try those first and then begin our road trips across America to try all the rest.

The Best Nachos In Minnesota
When it came to Minnesota, one restaurant stood out among all the others, which should come as a shock since the word nacho is in its name.
The best nachos in Minnesota, which also now rank with the best in America, can be found at Nacho’s Mexican Grill, located at 1016 Main Street in Hopkins, Minnesota.
It's a family-owned favorite, with Siblings Ignacio, Erika, and Cecilia serving their made-from-scratch Mexican food in Hopkins for over 10 years. They recently moved to the new, larger location on Main Street, which also features a huge outdoor patio.
The vast menu at Nacho’s Mexican Grill includes favorites like tacos, tamales, burritos, enchiladas, empanadas, quesadillas, sopes, and more, but a standout is the nachos.

Extra toppings such as asada, barbacoa (pulled beef), chicken tinga, and chorizo are optional, but the steak option is amazing and has also received standout reviews.
