AAD Shriners ‘Winter Wine Down’ Coming To Duluth Area With Great Silent Auction Items
It's always great you can find things to do during the winter months, especially when it benefits a worthy cause. If you love wine and craft beer, then you'll absolutely want to put the Winter Wind Down on your social calendar!
The AAD Shriners Oddmen, located at 5152 Miller Trunk Highway in Hermantown, is excited to present the 13th Annual Winter Wine Down. The proceeds from the event benefit the Aad Shriners, who put it directly back into the community throughout the year.
Because love, like wine, gets better with time, this year's theme is "Love the Wine You're With". Organizers say the goal is to bring the love of wine, community, and camaraderie into everyone's evening.
Guests will enjoy wine and craft beer tastings from Keyport Liquor, delicious hors d’oeuvres from area caterers and restaurants, music, raffles, a silent auction, and much more.
The 13th Annual Winter Wine Down is set for Thursday, February 16, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event brings in an average of 200-250 attendees and is open to the public. Last year's event delivered their highest gross of funds, raising $14,000. The goal this year is to break the $16,000 mark.
Tickets are $25 per person or you can reserve a table for (8) for $300 and receive a complimentary wine glass and a special dessert item.
The AAD Shrine provided a sneak peek at the silent auction items recently and there are some great items up for bid including a framed and signed Brett Hull jersey, a Blackstone grill, and more.
