Another food recall has been announced in Minnesota due to a potential health risk.

This new, voluntary recall specific to Minnesota comes on the heels of a major listeria outbreak linked to a massive 7 million-pound Boars Head deli meat recall.

The latest fresh food recall also has potential contamination with Listeria that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in vulnerable populations, including young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

Healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. However, Listeria infection can lead to miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
