Hermantown Police Hope To Reunite Stolen Wooden Viking Statue With Its Owner
It's been three years - but that doesn't mean that the case has gone cold. Back in June of 2014, someone stole a wooden viking statue from a Hermantown family. Since that time, the Hermantown Police have worked to investigate and prosecute the thieves.
The 1,300 pound, 6-foot tall statue hasn't turned up since then - but - authorities are betting that time might be on their side. Often, time makes thieves comfortable with their actions - and they either brag about their exploits or use (in this case display) the stolen goods.
If you have any information to provide, you're asked to contact the Hermantown Police Department.
