North End Days in Superior October 12-13, 2019

Superior’s downtown and North End will be filled with fun and excitement October 12th and 13th!

Things kick off Friday night, October 12th with the Goin’ Postal Art and Music Festival. Several local establishments including, Goin’ Postal, Vintage Italian Pizza, Art on the Planet, Framing by Stengi, The Thirsty Pagen, and The Spirit Room will be featuring art and music!
That evening at 7pm will also be a Drive-In movie showing of Monster’s Inc. in the municipal parking lot between World of Wheels and Banks Avenue. This even is presented by the World of Wheels, Audio Visual Resources, and Twin Ports Outdoor Movies. You’ll be able to enjoy the movie from the comfort of your car while you listen through your FM radio. The World of Wheels will be open for popcorn and other great movie treats!
Saturday, October 13th, The Superior Spooktacular Parade and Pumpkin Patch take place. The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. and run down Ogden Ave from North 14th street, to Broadway down to Hughitt Ave. The Grand Marshalls from Fox21 News will be there leading the way and to judge the rest of the entires! The parade run past many vendors along Broadway right to the Pumpkin Patch in the Salvation Army parking lot. Deep Water Music will play while there are bounce houses, games and fun galore for the family. Please bring a toiletry item to donate. There will be collection areas in the Pumpkin Patch for the Salvation Army.
In the Community Gardens Park you can enjoy a s’more roasted in a nice warming pit. There will be a costume contest at 4:00 p.m. on the main stage near the corner of Ogden and Broadway, judged by Superior Mayor Jim Paine.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the festivities turn to the North End Days “Monster Mash” Street Dance held on the corner of Broadway and Ogden. Born Too Late take the stage at 6:00 pm, Buckwild will take over at 7:00 p.m., and then South (North for the night) of Superior will close out the night from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The beer garden will open at 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Ogden and Broadway and be open until 11:00 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from the day will go to the Boys and Girls Club.
