Sometimes it's just leaves, sometimes some loose garbage, or sometimes just some left over sand from the Winter months. The City Of Duluth wants the place to look good for every one of our visitors and the people of the community. So they are asking for your patience.
According to the City of Duluth press release, the city is preparing the route for the annual Grandma's Marathon runners and visitors. City Street Maintenance crews will be out on Thursday, June 18 to sweep London Road from 14th Ave E to 26th Ave E. This work will commence at 8:00 AM with this section of London Road marked "No Parking."
The entire operation should take about 3 hours. The public is requested to move their vehicles in this project zone to avoid ticketing and towing.
