I'm a huge fan of space, not just the personal kind, outer space too.  The Duluth Public Library is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing this week and they are teaming up with PBS North and Author Bob King for their event.

During it, Bob will be giving the audience tips on how to see and explore the moon from their own front yards.  He will also be speaking on the previous Apollo missions and even future plans for NASA to return to the moon in 2024.

After Bob's presentation, they will then have an opportunity for attendees to see an advanced screening of "Chasing the Moon" a new three part miniseries set to premier on July 8th, 2019 on PBS North.  It also wouldn't be a moon landing celebration without real moon rock, they will have that there for you to touch as well.

The event is held at 520 West Superior Street in Duluth on Monday, June 24th from 5:00PM-7:00PM and even though it is free you need to pre-register here.
