City Of Duluth To Hold Picnic For Seniors August 22

Summertime and the living is easy!  It's also the time of year for backyard barbecues and picnics.  In an effort to make sure there's fun for all ages, the City of Duluth is planning a special celebration for senior citizens.

All seniors are invited to attend the All City Senior Picnic, to be held on Wednesday, August 22, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Morgan Park Senior Center. Tickets are only $8.00 per senior, and need to be purchased prior to August 15.

A fun afternoon is planned with plenty of food.  Hamburgers are being provided by B and B Market's BBQ Wagon.  In addition, the menu includes potato salad, watermelon, lemonade, coffee, and dessert.  Guests will enjoy live entertainment provided by Todd Eckart and Northland Shimmy Mob.  Plus, organizers have a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games planned and there will even be door prizes.
