A network television crew out in the early evening yesterday at the entrance of Bentleyville filming for a television show. Background guests were needed for filming and people that showed up were promised a Bentleyville hat and a surprise at the end of filming.

The crowd gathered at the gates of Bentleyville and  were asked to cheer, laugh, and react to the holiday lighting display. For many locals this was an exciting opportunity to be in the background for the filming. Fox21 met with a few of the extras from The College of St. Scholastica that came down to be part of the fun. Kiersten Sabolik said “That would be super cool. I’m definitely going to watch the whole show now " and Molly McCusker said “I hadn’t heard of it before, but I’m going to have to look into it,”

The show and network cannot be revealed before December 10, but what a great way to highlight Bentleyville on a national level, also giving visitors to the display an extra treat. Filming last night was expected to last for a few hours, with more filming being done today as well.
