Winter-Time Energy-Saving Tips Available From Focus On Energy

While there are reasons why utility costs can be high throughout the year, it's usually the colder winter months that leave most customers grimacing about their bills; especially in our part of the country, the costs to heat a home can add up fast - even with a mild winter.

As we get set to embark upon the winter season, our local utility companies are reminding customers about the home energy-saving tips and products that are available via Focus On Energy.  Since their inception in 2001, Focus On Energy has helped more than 108 electric and Natural Gas utility companies throughout Wisconsin implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that otherwise wouldn’t happen, or in some cases years sooner than scheduled.

Focus On Energy's website is a treasure-trove of resources for both residential and commercial customers.  Along with energy saving tips and ideas, they also provide free upgrade kits that are available to customers of participating utility companies once evert three years.
