Why Is The Sky Yellow in The Twin Ports?

If you've noticed the yellow tint to the sky in the Twin Ports the last few hours, you may have mistakenly attributed it to the storms that are looking off to the west of us. Some people around the office here also wondered if they were a sign of tornado-activity.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, the current yellow tint to the sky is the result of the large forest fires burning in northern and central Canada.  An unusually windy day that sourced from the northwest has carried the smoke to our area.  You can't smell it - but you sure can see it!
