I know that many people have stopped using phone books these days but I guess I'm just an old-fashioned kind of guy.  That's why it surprises me that it took so long for me to notice that Superior listings are missing from the current DEX Twin Ports phone directory.

The most-recent DEX phone directory for the Twin Ports area was issued in July 2015.  The cover says "Twin Ports:  Duluth, Superior, North Shore".  Open the book up to the Residential section and you get the same promise;  it says "Duluth, North Shore, Superior, WI & Surrounding Area Residential Listings".  But I challenge you to find a single Superior listing in the White Pages.

There are Superior listings that show up in the Yellow Pages - which are paid-for listings.  But I wonder how many of those Superior businesses that bought Yellow Page listings realize that they're missing out on the 27,000 people who live in Superior.

DEX is the "standard" when it comes to phone books.  There are other directories that are published by other companies, but DEX is the book that comes directly from the phone company.

I reached out to a representative from DEX to inquire about the gross oversight.  He didn't have an answer for me and promised to call me back.  I still haven't received a response.
