A Girl Scout cookie is a Girl Scout Cookie - unless of course you buy it from a troop from another part of the country. If you thought that all Girl Scout cookies were created equal - you may want to think again.
It turns out that there are two bakeries that make all of the Girl Scout cookies sold in the United States: Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers. The cookies they make are slightly different in looks, texture, taste, nutritional value and (sometimes) name.
