Where Is The Best Place To Park During The Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival?

As a major fundraiser for three Rotary clubs in the Twin Ports, the Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival promises something for everyone over its two day run on Barkers Island.

But where is the best place to park?

While there is some limited parking on the island - just off the turn-off from Highway 2, your best bet is to utilize the free shuttle service that runs from the Mariner Mall parking lot.  People can board the bus from the southwest side of the Mariner Mall on Friday between 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM and on Saturday between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.  The shuttle makes round trips from the Mariner Mall to Barkers Island and it provides an easy, affordable way to enjoy the festival.
