When Does The City Of Superior Accept Garbage For Free? Annual Free Landfill Days Happen April 25 And May 2

It's time for the City of Superior's Free Landfill Days!  This is the perfect opportunity for residents to get a little spring cleaning in and get rid of their debris for free at the municipal landfill.

This year the event will happen on Saturday, April 25 and Saturday, May 2 - from 8AM to 2:30PM.

Items that will be accepted for free on those days include:

• Household trash
• Brush
• Tires - with a limit of 5 per residence - 18-inches or less
• Grass clippings, leaves,  used motor oil

What's not included in the free event?

• Recyclables
• Electronics
• Appliances
• Demolition and construction materials
• Batteries
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Household Hazardous waste

The City will accept mattresses - but at the normal rate of $10 each for completely dry and fairly clean mattresses and $13 each for damp, wet, or heavily soiled mattresses.
