Crews from the City of Duluth are out this week performing maintenance to the green space near the William A. Irvin ore boat museum.

Earlier this winter, officials noted areas where the ground had eroded - leaving uneven surfaces that might be a hazard.  Crews are repairing these spots using large equipment.

While sidewalk traffic shouldn't be affected, the city is warning pedestrians to be careful of moving equipment and vehicles.

The work is expected to wrap up within the week.
