A generation or so ago there were only two mattress/bed sizes:  Twin and Full.  If you've been shopping for a bed or mattress recently, you've probably discovered a wide-range of sizes and descriptions.  But what do they mean?

To end the confusion, all you really need to remember is the size-order in which mattresses are sold;  From smallest to largest, they are:  Twin, Twin-Long, Full, Queen, and King.
