The popular Food Network TV show Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives has visited the Twin Ports a few times in the last couple of years.  The travelogue series is hosted by Guy Fieri - who, according to rumors vacations in the Northland (I'll protect his privacy by not disclosing the supposed location).

If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes, an article in the Daily Mail recently presented a list of little-known facts about the series that makes an interesting read.

While I'm not a fan of the show specifically, I have no issues with Guy Fieri.  When Food Network actually lets him cook, he seems to have culinary skills and a charismatic personality.  I just wish that Food Network would focus less on competition and travelogue programs and focus more on actual cooking.
